Subversion: Paradigm took place on March 22nd, 2025 and the promotion brought together some of the best grapplers in Australia and beyond for an exciting event. It was clear from the start that a stacked lineup like this was going to produce some fireworks and that’s exactly what happened. There were quite a few finishes throughout the preliminary card, but one of the standout performances came from elite leglocker Robert Degle later on in the night. He hit a beautiful choi bar entry that had Matt Diaz in trouble immediately and although he rolled, Degle transitioned and finished the armbar face-up.

Both the main and co-main event of the evening had one of the promotion’s titles on the line, and Sebastian Attard kicked things off first by challenging Izaak Michell for the light-heavyweight belt. It was a valiant effort but Michell got the win by unanimous decision in the end, reaffirming his place as one of the top Australian grapplers right now. Then his fellow countryman David Stoilescu was up against Gabriel Sousa in the main event, fighting for the lightweight title. The ADCC veteran Sousa showed off some superb wrestling at different points in order to win the unanimous decision and the title.
