The UFC made it’s return to London for the first time in quite a while and the promotion managed to put together an event that was stacked with UK talent from top to bottom. In the end, the aforementioned talent delivered in every single fight and the event turned out to be an action-packed ride that never seemed to slow down. All but three of the fights ended in a finish and there were several fantastic submissions at regular intervals. The very first fight was over in less than a minute as one of the hottest prospects on the planet, undefeated veteran amateur fighter Muhammad Mokaev, secured a guillotine in his UFC debut.

Shortly after that, Paul Craig managed to extend his win-streak to four by locking up yet another triangle finish against Nikita Krylov in his first fight since being promoted to black belt in BJJ. Makwan Amirkhani then followed Mokaev’s footsteps and managed to finish his opponent inside the first minute as well, putting Mike Grundy to sleep with an Anaconda Choke. UK fan-favorite Paddy ‘the Baddy’ Pimblett also got to work early as he managed to take Rodrigo Vargas’ back and sink in the rear-naked choke after a little less than four minutes of action. After that, the main event saw another first-round finish as Tom Aspinall dominated Alexander Volkov on the ground before submitting him with a straight armbar.
