Polaris 21 marked the very first time that the promotion staged an event outside of the UK, with them taking the show to Cagliari, Sardinia to deliver results to the fans who were in attendance at the end of the BJJ Summer Week. The preliminary card featured the conclusion of the Polaris Contenders tournament that took place over the previous days and crowned the winners in both the men’s and women’s division, shortly before one of B-Team’s latest prospects Kaya Rudolph took to the mats to take on Francesco Bartolotta. The main event then featured a nice mix of gi and no gi matches before Michelle Nicolini and Ashley Bendle engaged in an incredibly close battle for the inaugural Polaris 60kg title, with Nicolini winning by the thinnest of margins. The main event then saw a match between fan-favorite Jed Hue and UFC veteran Paul Craig, which Hue won in just a little over twenty seconds.
