ONE FC CEO Chatri Sityodtong has made an intriguing announcement on his official social media accounts, detailing a special edition of “The Apprentice” and some of the guest stars slated to be part of the show. It’s a very strange turn of events indeed but the new twist on an old reality show format represents a unique marketing opportunity for the promotion. Aside from two legends in Georges St-Pierre and Renzo Gracie, there are also four current and former ONE FC champions in Demetrious Johnson, Angela Lee, Ben Askren, and Brandon Vera.
They will also be joined on this edition of “The Apprentice” by three rising stars from ONE FC who are no doubt looking to build their fanbases, Sage Northcutt, Jingnan Xiong and Ritu Phogat. All of the fighters involved will take on a similar role in the show, as guides for the sixteen contestants who will be competing for a $250,000 prize and a year-long contract to work for ONE FC.

St-Pierre said the following in a press release for the show: “I am beyond excited to fly to Asia to be part of The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition. Chatri is a great leader and entrepreneur, and it is an honor for me to guest star alongside him on the show and learn everything that I can. I hope to share my insight and knowledge in business, as well as how it is to be an elite athlete, with the contestants and help them become successful.”
