In what is probably the most bizarre turn of events in recent MMA history, Nick Diaz has now partnered up with adult webcam site Stripchat to teach self-defense to some of the cam girls working for them. The elder Diaz brother has not fought in the UFC since his Unanimous Decision loss to Anderson Silva over six years ago, a fight that was eventually overturned to a No Contest after Silva tested positive for Drostanolone and Androsterone. Originally, the Nevada State Athletic Comission actually banned Diaz for five years after testing positive for Marijuana metabolites at that same fight, although this was later reduced to just 18 months.
Since then, Diaz has shown no interest in returning to the world of Mixed Martial Arts, that is up until late last year when his manager Kevin Mubenga confirmed that he completed a test weight-cut in order to plan for his UFC return. As of yet however, there has been no concrete news on when that return will be or who his opponent will be, although Dana White has dropped hints that Khamzat Chimaev may be in the mix. Since that original report, Mubenga has also confirmed that in all likelihood, Nick Diaz will be making his UFC comeback at some point in 2021, although he too wasn’t able to confirm any potential opponent at the time.
While he has no official fight coming up, it seems as though Nick Diaz is choosing to remain active in some sense of the word after announcing his partnership with Stripchat and upcoming seminar with two of the company’s cam girls. While Diaz himself originally broke the news in a post on his official Instagram account, further detail was provided by MMAJunkie who confirmed the story.
