Several elite competitors and popular figures in the sport have reportedly now left ATOS as rumours swirl of misconduct allegations. The news began to surface as a handful of anonymous posts on social media, and the story is still developing at the time of writing. It’s important to note that details are still very thin on the ground, and we’ve been unable to confirm some of the information out there. Jits Magazine can only report on the aspects of this situation that are publicly verifiable, or that we can confirm privately with our own sources.
When rumours of misconduct allegations at ATOS first emerged, one of the first things that the public began to point out is that elite competitor Andy Murasaki had recently been seen training at Kingsway Jiu-Jitsu instead of his home-team. It’s not uncommon for competitors to change teams of course, but Murasaki has been representing ATOS and consistently training there since he was a juvenile athlete. Others also referenced popular social media figure Rose Miller and a Reddit user with the handle ‘Rosierollz’, which matches her Instagram handle, shared the following comment in response:
“Hi – Rose, here. I have removed ATOS from my bio, removed my promotion post (edit: unpinned), and cancelled my membership today. I have only trained there once in the last 2 weeks as this has information has been coming out. I am not able to say more at this time but I am standing with the girls and am supporting them in sharing when they’re ready. This is deeply troubling and sad time for us. All my energy is currently dedicated to making safe spaces for the girls and women. I will make a public statement as soon as I am able. EDIT: I have not made any allegations and I’m not commenting on the allegations. This comment was just to respond to my name being mentioned.”

As the news began to emerge, another high-profile competitor with connections to ATOS was actually making her way across the world to compete at a major event. Adele Fornarino was travelling from Australia to the UK and actually preparing for her weigh-in for a superfight at Polaris 35. She then took part in the photography session for it wearing a top that said ‘We don’t roll like that’ and shared the image with the caption ‘Things need to change’. Fornarino has been conducting her training camps at ATOS for a while now but Jits Magazine has been able to confirm with our sources that she will not be representing the team in any fashion during the live broadcast of the event.
Jits Magazine has reached out to Murasaki, Miller, and Fornarino and will update this article to reflect any response we receive.
