Grapplefest 19 took place on October 11th, 2025, and the promotion delivered some great matches for their return to the competition scene. They’ve been on hiatus since their 18th event about a year and a half ago, but they pulled out all the stops for this one. In keeping with their reputation as one of the top grappling promotions in the UK, they pulled in several of the best competitors in Europe to face off against the best from even further afield. Some of the biggest Pedigo Submission Fighting veterans made the journey over from the US, and collectively they enjoyed a flawless run through their matches.
Brad Schneider kicked things off for the team with a tight Tarikoplata finish against Will Bean, right before a battle between two physically-imposing heavyweights. ADCC veteran Brandon Reed also got the finish against Phillipe Geyer, locking up the rear-naked choke against an opponent who’s notoriously tough to submit. The team’s last two matches were both decision wins, as Max Hanson got the nod from the judges in his battle with Seany Stewart and the co-main event saw Michael Pixley beating Jean Maltese. Then it was time for the only title-fight of the night in the main event, as the reigning under 60kg champion Adele Fornarino submitted Julia Maele to add the under 65kg title to her collection.
