Gordon Ryan has just issued a public reward of $5,000 for information that leads to him recovering a truck that was recently stolen from him. It’s no surprise that the greatest no gi grappler in the world is able to offer such a handsome reward either, as he’s famously the most well-paid competitor in the sport. In fact, Ryan actually signed the sport’s first seven-figure contract with FloSports just a little over a year ago. Although that kind of income means that Ryan can undoubtedly afford to replace the stolen truck, it’s got to still be annoying when something like this happens.
It turns out that it wasn’t just the truck that Ryan has had taken from him either, as he apparently had a ton of ammunition and several knives gifted to him by John Danaher in the car as well. Not only would that increase the physical value of the loss, but there’s also bound to be some emotional attachment to those knives as well. It makes sense then why he might be eager to have those items returned rather than waiting to find out if law enforcement have any success. With hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, there’s also a decent chance that one of them might be able to help Ryan too.
Gordon Ryan announced the news that his truck had been stolen and revealed the $5,000 reward for finding it in a recent post to his official Instagram account. The full transcript can be found below:
“So here in Joe Biden’s America, someone just stole my f**king TRX out of the driveway last night at 3:30 am and they also stole a bunch of stuff from other people’s cars, guns and stuff like that. I had a couple of John (Danaher)’s knives in there, probably a thousand rounds of ammunition… Anyways, I’ll be offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can point me towards this truck. If you have anything, if you’re in Austin or any other city or state and you see this truck, and you can get me this truck back, I will send you $5,000. If you actually give me a piece of information that allows me to get this truck back, I’ll send you $5,000.”
