It’s official, Polaris vs Who’s Number One is going down at Polaris 35 on January 31st, 2026 and the full lineup for the WNO Squad has now been announced. It’s going to be the first event of the new partnership between Polaris and FloGrappling and they’re really kicking things off with a bang by putting together one of the biggest cross-promotional events possible. There’s no official confirmation yet on the exact lineup for the Polaris team but the original idea was to use the European Squad that won their Intercontinental Championship this year. Barring any injuries or unavailability, the Squad should remain unchanged.
Putting together the WNO Squad would have been a little more difficult, as they didn’t have the advantage of using an existing lineup like Polaris. They’ve staged almost as many events over the years though, so they have just as much talent to work with. For their under 80kg competitors, WNO have gone with both Deandre Corbe and Gavin Corbe alongside elite leglocker Chris Wojcik. All three of them are excellent grapplers capable of submitting bigger opponents; making them very useful in a team grappling format. Wojcik even has previous experience here, as he was a member of the North American Squad that competed at Polaris 31.
Wojcik isn’t the only one though, as Devhonte Johnson competed alongside him in the under 95kg weight class and he has also been drafted onto the WNO team. He’s joined at that weight by two newcomers to the format, Declan Moody and Luccas Lira. Both men are ADCC veterans and they will both be very tough to beat even for the opponents that are their size. All in all, WNO have built an excellent team and they will definitely make life hard for whoever ends up representing Polaris. It’s sure to be an exciting event too, with at least 20 matches between the two teams’ competitors.
The full Polaris vs WNO Squads event at Polaris 35, including the above lineup, will be available to watch live on January 31st, 2026 on FloGrappling, click here to subscribe and watch.
