Professional Grappling Federation (PGF) World Season 7 is scheduled for November 3rd to 8th, 2024 and the promotion has just released the full roster. This edition will take place at light-heavyweight and as always, PGF has managed to gather together 20 elite grapplers for the tournament. There are quite a few big names and ADCC veterans, along with some fan-favorites from previous seasons. In fact, four of the men in the lineup were also members of the original 20-man lineup for PGF World Season 6 as well. Although some of them stick out as contenders more than others, there’s plenty of talent all the way through.

The four legendary coaches will certainly have some tough decisions to make when the time comes to make their picks in the draft at the start of the season. One of the most popular choices will probably be four-time ADCC Trials winner Paul Ardila, although there are plenty of other veterans to choose from as well. Several other members of the lineup have experience on the biggest stages in the world, with top 10th Planet black belts Ryan Aitken and Kyle Boehm standing out too. Chris Wojcik is another top contender despite the fact that he generally competes in lighter weight classes.

Marcin Maciulewicz and Andre Porfirio are another two grapplers to keep an eye on as the week unfolds, while some of the other serious threats might be flying under the radar a little. Adam Bradley is notoriously tough to beat and will be riding a serious wave of momentum after his run in the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational, as an example. There’s also Breylor Grout, who is one of the top competitors representing Legion Jiu-Jitsu, and a few more 10th Planet competitors who could cause some problems if things go their way. Fedor Nikolov and Kyle Chambers have both shown flashes of brilliance at various points in their respective careers and they could have a big impact here.

Dory Aoun is another name who could surprise a few of the more experienced competitors, and a lot of people will be excited to see Davis Asare competing at PGF for the second time after he had such success in the last season. He isn’t the only man experienced in this format though, as Elijah Carlton is the most frequent competitor in PGF history. Nathan Haddad and Cameron Hurd will also be returning from season 6, and it’s easy to underestimate just how valuable that level of experience is. Rounding out the PGF World Season 7 roster is Caleb Crump, Travis Thomas, Sebastian Attard, Kemoy Anderson, and legendary BJJ filmmaker Stuart Cooper.
