EBI 25 is scheduled for September 12th, 2025 and the promotion has just announced the full lineup of elite lightweights who will be competing. One of the first things that made people take notice of the event was the fact that UFC contender Bryce Mitchell is in the bracket, but he’ll have to get through some of the best in the world to get even close to the title. One of the most experienced men in the bracket is going to be Gianni Grippo, as he’s been winning at the highest level of the sport for longer than some of his opponents have been training.
He isn’t the only ADCC veteran in the lineup though, and in fact a quarter of the bracket have competed at the world’s most prestigious no gi grappling tournament with varying degrees of success. Ethan Crelinsten and Keith Krikorian have both appeared there multiple times in the past, while the fourth man in that elite group made his debut just last year; Max Hanson. There’s plenty of other experienced competitors in the tournament too, including one of the most popular 10th Planet representatives of all time; Ben Eddy. He is joined by Jordan Holy and Sergio Rios, both of whom have plenty of experience under EBI rules.
There’s some top prospects in the EBI 25 lineup too, and each one of them could make a serious impact. Landon Elmore and Raphael Ferreira have both had some excellent wins this year and may very well surprise a few people, while 18 year-old JJ Bowers is already trying to build off his breakthrough performance at the Combat Jiu-Jitsu Lightweight World Championship last year. There’s also young Fight Factory brown belt Grayson Henley to contend with, and he will be a tough opponent for anyone. There’s also some dark horses; with Christos Papadelos being the most likely to cause an upset and Henrique Camargo, Randy Baker, and Brady Branscum rounding out the bracket.
