The full card has just been confirmed for BJJ Stars 9, with the star-studded event set to take place on 21st October. The promotion is easily the biggest of its kind in Brazil but it’s been a relatively quiet year for them so far, with only one event taking place so far in 2022. Regardless, BJJ Stars have come out strong for their final event of the year by putting together a Lightweight grand prix that features some of the most interesting and exciting prospects in the sport. The action doesn’t stop there either, as they’ve also arranged a number of superfights that includes several veterans of the 2022 ADCC World Championships.
The main event sees the silver medallist of the 77kg division, Mica Galvao, facing a competitor from the 88kg division, Isaque Bahiense. Shortly before that, Fabricio Andrey will also be returning from the 66kg division to take on an incredibly tough opponent in the form of Samuel Nagai. Alongside these matches, the legendary Paulo Miyao will be making an appearance in the co-main event against Alexandre Vieira and Bia Mesquita will take on a difficult challenge from Thalyta Silva.
