Chaos Grappling Championship is one of the top professional grappling promotions in Ireland, put together by the minds behind one of the country’s premier regional MMA promotions. They are relatively new in the grappling world as they put together their very first event back on February 12th, 2022. They wasted no time in putting together great matches though, as they managed to book one of Ireland’s most popular MMA fighters to compete at their debut event. Cal Ellenor is a Bellator veteran with an 8-3 professional record that includes 6 submission wins over the course of his 8 years as an active fighter, and he is incredibly popular in the Irish combat sports scene.
Niall Wilson was the opponent that Chaos Grappling Championship managed to book opposite Cal Ellenor and he actually has an MMA career of his own as well. Wilson has an amateur MMA record of 4-1 and he actually has experience competing on Chaos Fighting Championship, the brand that the promotion uses for MMA shows. Wilson gave it everything he had but Ellenor was able to launch more offense over the course of their match and although neither man could find the finish, Ellenor earned the decision win as a result of his performance.
