Fight 2 Win 165 saw the promotion take a trip back into the realm of female-only events by putting on their second event to feature female competitors exclusively. The first time they decided to make this move was only back at the end of January, where they set up a fantastic event headlined by four black belt title matches after another six matches between elite competitors on the main card. This time the promotion took a slightly different direction with only four black belt matches on the card, but featuring nine wrestling matches between female grapplers instead.
The main event was still a title match, this time between recently-promoted black belt Elisabeth Clay and IBJJF gi and no gi Pan-Ams Champion Maria Malyjasiak. Malyjasiak seemed confident in entering a leg entanglement against Clay but she paid the price quickly as Clay won the 50/50 battle and turned belly-down with a Toehold to finish. The co-main event ended in a similar fashion, with Jessica Flowers succumbing to an ankle lock courtesy of Luiza Monteiro.
