The next edition of Balance and Flow Invitational is scheduled for June 25th, 2023 and the promotion has managed to book together a fantastic lineup of 8 elite grapplers for their women’s absolute tournament. Alongside this tournament there will also be several superfights at the event, featuring some of the most exciting talent in the area. The main attraction is definitely the women’s absolute tournament though and it features several top BJJ competitors who would be easy choices to win any other event if they didn’t have such tough opposition.
The first woman announced for the tournament was Nicole Mathew, who is a fantastic grappler that stands a great chance of emerging victorious here. One of the biggest obstacles in her way is actually the very same woman who beat her in the final of the Rise Invitational 11 grand prix. That woman is Peyton Letcher, an exciting ADCC Trials winner who is likely the biggest favourite to win this tournament. While she might have the best odds of taking home the title, this isn’t even remotely an easy night of work for her. The Renzo Gracie Cape Town representative will have her hands full with several of the competitors standing opposite her.
The final competitor who is among the most likely to win the women’s absolute tournament at the next Balance and Flow Invitational is Jaidyn Mueller, one of the top competitors to come up under Tom DeBlass recently. While these are the 3 women who stand the best chance of winning, the other 5 athletes in attendance are all capable of providing the upset. Jillian Peterson, Ansley Cox, Monica Au-Yeung, Laura Kent, and Jordan Novak will all be eager to prove themselves against top competition and it’ll be exciting to see if they can produce results against some of the best female grapplers around.
The news that the next edition of Balance and Flow Invitational was set to feature a women’s absolute tournament, and the 8 women featured in the lineup, was announced in a post to the promotion’s official Instagram account:
