Main Character Jiu-Jitsu 3 is scheduled for February 4th, 2024 and the promotion has just announced a fantastic lineup for an 8-woman under 135lbs tournament. All eight of the female grapplers competing at the event are among the best in the weight class and the promotion has also arranged a number of superfights to support the main attraction too. One particular superfight between two blue belts is drawing quite a lot of attention, as Yashira Millayes and Taylor Ellis Hishaw got a bit heated on the comment section of a the promotion’s Instagram account. They matched the two women together for the event and now they’ll be able to settle the score once and for all on the mats.

The under 135lbs tournament will be split into two round-robin sections where four of the women will all compete against one another to determine the two finalists, and they’ve even announced the two top seeds. Amanda Bruse will be the top seed in bracket A and Morgan Black will be the top seed in bracket B, but things will be far from easy for both of these women. The promotion hasn’t confirmed which of the two brackets the other six women are going to be competing in, but there’s some very tough opponents.

ADCC Trials winner Peyton Letcher and the incredibly talented prospect Trinity Pun are both waiting to be seeded, and either one of them could emerge victorious here. Kiaya Jackson also has a ton of experience on some pretty big stages, and Luiza Nogueira is another up-and-coming talent that could surprise some of her opponents. The final two spaces in Main Character Jiu-Jitsu 3 tournament lineup are occupied by equally talented competitors, as Nicole Mathew has competed for several big promotions around the US and Maggy Meier is one of the top female grapplers in Canada.

The full Main Character Jiu-Jitsu 3 event, including the above tournament lineup, is available to watch via PPV here.
