Majestic BJJ Challenge 5 is scheduled to take place on April 5th, 2025 in Manaus and the promotion has put together a very exciting card for their latest event. They’re still relatively new to the game but they’ve found a format that works very well, kicking things off with a kids preliminary card featuring some of the best up-and-coming young grapplers in the area. The Manaus region has proved to be a hotbed of talent over the last few years and the kids taking to the mats are always incredibly skilled for their ages. That leads in to the main card, which is a mix of both top colored belt prospects and veteran black belts.
Most of the attention will be on the final two matches of the night though, as that’s where Majestic BJJ Challenge has secured the services of some of the best competitors in the world. First up is the co-main event, where the always-entertaining Felipe Machado will be taking on former IBJJF Master World Championship winner Guilherme Carvalho. They’ve brought in some serious firepower for the main event though, as two-time ADCC world champion Diogo Reis is up against Cleber Sousa in a rematch from 2023. Reis won that first match on points and while Sousa will be out for revenge, Reis will be looking for an even more dominant win this time around.
