Dillon Danis has been repeatedly going after Logan Paul and his fiancee Nina Agdal on social media, but now it may have come back to haunt him as he’s been sued as a result. Danis and Paul have been booked to compete against one another in a boxing match, and Danis has been relentless in his verbal attacks ever since the announcement was made. It’s common for both MMA fighters and boxers to engage in trash talk in order to sell an upcoming fight, but it’s pretty rare to see it end in legal action. This didn’t come as a complete surprise though, as Danis was allegedly given a ‘Cease and Desist’ by Paul in relation to his discussion of Agdal on social media.
The news was originally reported by TMZ, and they explained that Danis’ constant trash talk directed at Agdal actually put the boxing match in doubt at one point. Danis has been repeatedly sharing images of Agdal with other men, some of whom have been ex-boyfriends and mocking both her and Paul. The lawsuit is in relation to a specific incident where Dillon Danis took it even further though, as he shared a sexually explicit image of Nina Agdal that was taken during a ‘romantic encounter’ she had with a person over 10 years ago. According to the lawsuit:
“Danis posted the photograph — entirely uncensored — from his X (Twitter) account, without Plaintiff’s consent. Later that day, Danis reposted the explicit photograph in order to maximize the number of views it would receive.”
According to the suit, Misfits boxing had to actually threaten to cancel the match between Danis and Paul in order to force Danis to remove the image. He also shared a video that Agdal discussing ‘her desire for intimacy during celibacy’ and she claims that this video was stored in her Snapchat archive ‘suggesting Danis had hacked [her] personal account or had obtained the private video from someone who had done so.’
The lawsuit also requests that Dillon Danis stop his online activity that relates to Nina Agdal but since news of the suit has broken, Danis has shown no signs of stopping. In fact, he has even sent a series of tweets directly addressing the issue:
“Nina Adgel has filed a massive lawsuit against me. She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time, so the fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail. This is actually wild but I won’t stop f*ck the system come get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking.”
“I will provide more details when I can, but because it’s a federal case, I can’t at this time. P.S. f*ck that hoe.
“The clout-wh*re sent the details to TMZ, exposing her true character. Nina Agdal will be called Karen Agdal till further notice. I didn’t even put a ring on it and she already trying to f*ck me for all my money.”
