The AIGA Champions League Finals 2025 will take place on June 28th and 29th, 2025 and the promotion has confirmed the first six teams that will be competing. Fans who’ve been paying attention will already know them of course, as most of them earned their place at the event by winning or placing in the four qualifier tournaments that took place in 2024. Four teams had to win their invite to the event but the AIGA Champions League USA Qualifier also awarded a place to the finalist, and the sixth invite was given out to the promotion’s reigning champions from 2023 as they look to defend their title.

The star-studded Team Modolfo won the 2023 season and were the first to earn their invite to the 2025 finals as a result. Although they were the favorites back in that season, things were far from easy for them and the level of competition has only increased this time around. Mo Jassim put together the team by gathering together several top ADCC contenders, but this time around there are a few teams with just as many elite grapplers. The next team to book their place was Team Euro Trash in the Turkey Qualifier, and they are made up of some of the top no gi competitors from all around Europe.

The Brazil Qualifier was up next and Team Kasai emerged victorious there, putting on an absolutely flawless performance by winning every single match. The next qualifying round took place in the USA and Checkmat won the tournament, while 10th Planet finished second and were also awarded an invite. There was only one more qualifying round set for 2024 and the final invite available in Astana was won by Al Leone. Now there are only two more spaces left in the AIGA Champions League Finals 2025 and they will both be decided by the promotion themselves, as they will hand-pick the teams to complete the roster.

The dates and first teams for the AIGA Champions League Finals 2025 were announced in a post to the promotion’s official Instagram account:
