Craig Jones is known for his refreshingly honest approach to Jiu-Jitsu and he’s never shied away from the topic of steroids before, but now he’s actually revealed the ‘stack’ that he uses from Ever Titan. Although the usage of PEDs has been rife in Jiu-Jitsu for decades at this point, this is the first time that one of the biggest competitors in the sport has actually shared a behind-the-scenes look at it. Other elite grapplers like Mahamed Aly have been open about the fact that they have used steroids and for many competitors it’s an open secret, but there are many more who would never dream of being this honest about their use.
Jones reportedly takes 200mg of Testosterone and 100mg of Nandrolone on a weekly basis, while 50mg of Oxandrolone and 5mg of Tadalafil are both taken on a daily basis. Although some of these PEDs are generally taken in cycles, there’s no confirmation as to whether these specific dosages are perpetual or on-cycle. While it might seem shocking to many at first, it’s worth remembering that Jones only really competes at ADCC and a handful of superfight events like Pit Submission Series. This means that unlike IBJJF competitors, he isn’t actually subject to any testing at any point and will likely suffer no real harm to his career for revealing this information.
In fact, Jones has built his entire brand on sharing the kind of raw opinions and information that the vast majority of professional athletes would never dream of sharing. While there are plenty of allegedly natural competitors who decry the use of steroids in the sport, there are also plenty who will be looking at the ‘stack’ that Craig Jones runs and will be surprised that he’s taking less than them. For the fans who have been paying any attention at all to him in the past, sharing this news will simply be another example of the honesty that they’ve come to love from Jones.
B-Team Jiu-Jitsu recently shared the collection of steroids that Craig Jones takes both daily and weekly in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
