Cage Fury BJJ 15 took place on September 20th, 2025 and the promotion put together some fun matches for the fans in Philadelphia. Most of the attention was on the three title-fights at the top of the card but there was quite a few highlights before them too. There were some real standout performances too; including from Steve Joachim and Andrew Kochel, who both won their matches with leglocks. Without a doubt the most impressive finish of the whole event came from Kevin Dantzler though, as he immediately set up a choi bar when the match began and switched to a traditional armbar to get the win in just 13 seconds.
There was also an incredibly unusual moment halfway through the card, when Amanda Mazza broke her own arm while applying a rear-naked choke and actually lost the match as a result. None of the title-fights featured the same level of craziness and none of them ended in a finish, but they were all entertaining matches regardless. Taylor Hishaw was up first against Nicole Mathew and the promotion’s bantamweight title was on the line. It was a tough match that went all the way to the end of overtime, but Hishaw got the win by decision and added some more silverware to her growing collection.
The co-main event was another bantamweight match, but this time it was the men’s title being contested. Edwin ‘Junny’ Ocasio came in as the champion and he left that way too, scoring points in overtime to win by golden score against Estevan Martinez. Ocasio has been in incredible form in recent years and there are very few matches left for him, so it’ll be interesting to see who he faces next. Then in the final match of the night, Patrick Sabatini also successfully defended his title against fellow MMA veteran Richie Lewis. He also scored points in overtime in order to remain the promotion’s welterweight champion.
