BJJ Summer Week is getting ready to celebrate their 10th anniversary with the biggest edition of the annual BJJ training camp yet from September 17th to 21st, 2025. The week-long event always is packed with high-level instruction from some of the best grapplers in the world and a ton of rolling with fellow attendees, but this time it’s going to be a little different.. After a decade of operation, they’ve decided to raise the stakes even higher by turning what was an excellent training camp into a full-blown festival instead. The latest edition will take place in the same location as always, the beautiful Italian island of Sardinia.
There were over 1000 participants at the 9th edition of BJJ Summer Week in 2024, and with the expansion for 2025 they’re almost certainly going to break that number. The lineup of instructors is still being released at the time of writing, but the first two names announced are more than enough to get anyone interested. Legendary BJJ competitor and two-time UFC title-challenger Demian Maia will be returning to teach at BJJ Summer Week once again, sharing some of his vast knowledge on the sport. With an ADCC world championship and 14 submission wins across his lengthy professional MMA career, there aren’t many better instructors out there than Maia.
Alongside him is Adam Wardzinski, one of the most successful European competitors in the history of the sport and a veteran of pretty much every major tournament in the world. Wardzinski is coming in to the festival off his momentous IBJJF World Championship win that saw him become the first male European gold medalist and he’ll be ready to share some of the skills that won him that title. BJJ Summer Week have also put special prices in place until the end of 2024, so anyone who’s eager enough to book this far in advance gets a huge discount on the regular price. The training alone can be booked for as little a €490 and including accommodation in the package starts from just €630.
