BJJ Summer Week is coming back on September 16th to 20th, 2026 and they’ve secured several ADCC and IBJJF world champions as coaches for it. It’s pretty much business as usual for the biggest training camp in the world, as they’re known for incredible lineups featuring a mixture of top competitors and legends of the sport. This is the 11th edition of BJJ Summer Week and after the huge success of their last outing, they’re looking to do the impossible and make things even bigger and better than ever before. Although they’re still revealing the instructors at the time of writing, the first few announcements have already got people excited.
The first coach they announced was one of the first Americans to break through to the highest level of BJJ, Robert Drysdale. Although Drysdale has become known as a fantastic coach through his work as the founder of Zenith BJJ, he was on top of the world during the 2000s. In 2005 Drysdale became only the third non-Brazilian and the second American to win an IBJJF World Championship, after Angolan pioneer Joao Roque and MMA legend BJ Penn. He also won an ADCC world title just two years later too, and enjoyed a successful MMA career that included a fight in the UFC.
Shortly after Drysdale’s announcement, BJJ Summer Week also added Victor Hugo to their roster of coaches too. Hugo is currently one of the top heavyweight competitors in the world with multiple IBJJF world titles to his name in both gi and no gi. He’s shared the mats with all of the best grapplers of his generation and beaten the majority of them too, often with incredible guardplay not usually seen in those weight classes. Tickets for BJJ Summer Week 2026 are currently available from as little as €530 for mat-time only or €700 with accommodation included, and even more coaches will be added to the lineup as the date approaches.
