The March 2026 update has been applied to the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings and the full standings can be found here. There was movement across both the gi and no gi divisions this month, thanks to one major tournament in each discipline and a handful of superfights. The ADCC European, Middle-Eastern, and African Trials 2026 took place halfway through the month and for the first time this cycle, 8 competitors won invites to the big show. On the same weekend there was a gi event in Europe too, as the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam hit Rome and several elite top gi competitors showed out.

Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings – March 2026 Update
Men’s No Gi BJJ Rankings
Bantamweight – Under 135lbs
Featherweight – Under 148lbs
Yigit Hanay won the under 66kg division at ADCC Trials this month and after winning several tough matches along the way, he returns to the rankings at 15th.
Lightweight – Under 162lbs
There were no changes in the March 2026 update for this division of the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings.
Welterweight – Under 175lbs
This whole division shifted up after inactivity took the former number one out of the rankings. Coming in as the new number fifteen is Nikolay Vetrov, who just won the under 77kg division at Trials.
Middleweight – Under 190lbs
Further changes due to inactivity have shuffled this division upwards too, and Sebastian Rodriguez comes in as the new number fifteen.
Light-Heavyweight – Under 205lbs
Ben Bennett got a big win at Grapplefest 20 and is now ranked at number thirteen, while inactivity cleared another space in the division and Marlon Tajik moves in at fifteen after winning ADCC Trials at under 88kg.
Heavyweight – Under 225lbs
There were no changes in the March 2026 update for this division of the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings.
Super-Heavyweight – Over 225lbs
Nicholas Meregali returned at UFC BJJ 5 and after winning his first match in almost a year and a half, he breaks back into the rankings in 5th place. Haisam Rida also returns to the rankings here for the first time in a while after he won the over 99kg division at ADCC Trials.
Pound for Pound
Inactivity caused the pound for pound rankings to shuffle a little bit too, and Tye Ruotolo is now 15th here.
Jits Magazine Men’s Gi BJJ Rankings
Bantamweight – Under 137lbs
Featherweight – Under 154lbs
Lightweight – Under 169lbs
Mateo Cardona won his superfight at the IBJJF No Gi Absolute Grand Prix 2026 and he is now the new number six at lightweight, and the only other change happened at the bottom of the rankings. Jefferson Goteu won gold in Rome and re-enters these rankings at 14th.
Welterweight – Under 181lbs
There were no changes in the March 2026 update for this division of the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings.
Middleweight – Under 194lbs
Mikael Rhaillander also had a great performance in Rome with two submission wins over elite grapplers and he now breaks into the rankings at 15th.
Light-Heavyweight – Under 208lbs
There were no changes in the March 2026 update for this division of the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings.
Heavyweight – Under 225lbs
There were no changes in the March 2026 update for this division of the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings.

Featherweight – Under 125lbs
Janette Gloger won Trials at under 55kg and beat the 15th ranked featherweight along the way, earning herself that same spot.
Lightweight – Under 135lbs
There were no changes in the March 2026 update for this division of the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings.
Middleweight – Under 146lbs
Injana Goodman returns to 15th here after winning ADCC Trials at under 65kg for the second year in a row.
Heavyweight – Over 146lbs
Nia Blackman couldn’t come away with a gold medal at Trials but she did beat a top-ranked opponent and now enters the heavyweight rankings at 13th, partially thanks to a competitor ahead of her being removed due to inactivity.

Young grappler Nikolett Kis advances a single position here, coming in at 12th after winning the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam in Rome.

Sarah Galvao moved up in weight to challenge herself at the IBJJF Grand Prix and the gamble paid off, as she came away with the win and is now ranked at number fifteen in a new division.
Heavyweight – Over 163lbs
