The instructor lineup for BJJ Summer Week 2025 just got even more impressive, as both Andre Galvao and his daughter Sarah Galvao have been confirmed. Although Andre is obviously a legend in the sport with a whole host of accolades, Sarah is at the beginning of her journey to joining him. Andre has won multiple IBJJF World Championship titles over the years but it was ADCC that saw him create a unique legacy in the sport. Not only did Galvao become one of a handful of double champions at the event but he also owns the longest run as the ADCC Superfight Champion.

Sarah Galvao was only promoted to black belt just a few months ago, but she has had a dominant run throughout the colored belt ranks. Not only has she won multiple major titles every step of the way but she’s also beaten ADCC medalists like Helena Crevar. This next year or so will be the first time that Galvao is able to test herself against the very best in the world on a regular basis, and she has a massive opportunity to do so in just a few weeks time. She will be one of four women competing in the $100,000 tournament at CJI 2, alongside a pair of ADCC world champions.

Andre will also be present at the event to corner both her and the ATOS team in the main event, and neither one of them is taking much time off afterward. Just three weeks later on September 17th to 21st, both Andre and Sarah Galvao will be making the journey to Cagliari, Sardinia for BJJ Summer Week 2025. They will both be sharing some of their immense knowledge with over a thousand grapplers who will be in attendance at the festival, and they are far from the only ones to do so. There’s something for everyone at BJJ Summer Week, as several different generations of elite competitors are teaching.

With just a little over a month left before the world’s biggest Jiu-Jitsu festival takes place, tickets are selling out fast. Some options are already sold out but there’s still spaces left for anyone who acts fast, either for the Open Mat or Premium Accommodation options. There’s still a few days left to secure them at discounted prices too, with the Open Mat option going for €650 and the Premium Accommodation option going for just €970 until August 20th, 2025.
