Jiu-Jitsu Con 2024 takes place on August 29th to 31st, 2024 and one of the main attractions on the schedule is always the amazing lineup of free seminars with legendary BJJ coaches and competitors available for attendees. Thousands of grapplers will be descending on Las Vegas, Nevada later this year and they all come with different goals in mind. The massive event comes around every year and it features several tournaments that attract dozens of elite competitors, including the IBJJF Master World Championship. While many IBJJF competitors will be there to test themselves on the mats, there are just as many who will be looking to learn from some of the best in the world.
The schedule of free seminars at Jiu-Jitsu Con 2024 will start on the very first day, and the first grapplers on the lineup at 10am are the Nova Uniao legends Andre Pederneiras and Wendell Alexander. The very next slot at 11:30am will feature one of the most successful female competitors of all time, Gabrieli Pessanha, and her coach Marcio de Deus of InFight BJJ. Art of Jiu-Jitsu will take the 1pm slot and both Rafael Mendes and Guilherme Mendes are leading the session, while Gracie Humaita are scheduled in for 2:30pm and legendary competitor Royler Gracie will be imparting his wisdom.
ATOS are taking the final slot of the first day at 4pm and head coach Andre Galvao will be teaching with his daughter Sarah Galvao. The second day starts at 10am with a seminar from GF Team representatives Julio Cesar, Vitor Oliveira, and Jaime Canuto. They are followed by the most successful IBJJF World Championship competitor of all time, Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida at 11:30am. The 1pm slot on that day will see Alliance Jiu-Jitsu legends taking teaching, as Romero ‘Jacare’ Cavalcanti, Alexandre Paiva, and of course Fabio Gurgel will be teaching. The final slot of the second day at 4pm will be led by a pair of top competitors, Romulo Barral and Servio Tulio.
The lineup of free seminars on the third and final day of Jiu-Jitsu Con 2024 is equally impressive, and the schedule starts with leading Checkmat figures Leo Vieira and Alessandra ‘Leka’ Vieira at 10am. Carlson Gracie is up next at 12pm and will be led by Carlson Gracie Jr himself alongside Sergio ‘Canudo’ Zimmerman. The final slot of the long weekend goes to Heath Pedigo with his team at Pedigo Submission Fighting, and they’re also bringing the biggest group to teach at 2pm. Pedigo will be joined by his star students Dante Leon and Jacob Couch, alongside ADCC Trials winner Michael Pixley.
