ADXC 4 is scheduled for May 18th, 2024 and the promotion will be visiting Europe for the very first time as it will be taking place in Paris, France. The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship has gone from strength to strength since they staged their first event a little less than 6 months ago and they’ve been steadily expanding their reach all around the world. Their first two events took place in their namesake Abu Dhabi, but they ventured outside of the UAE for the first time for ADXC 3 when the event was hosted in Brazil. That was a huge move and it appears to have been a resounding success, as the promotion has decided to look at the other continents.
Their first two events in Abu Dhabi featured a ton of Middle-Eastern talent and their first in Brazil saw some of the best grapplers that country has to offer stepping on the mats. With this latest event in Paris, they will likely be able to attract more of the top competitors from around Europe like Adam Wardzinski or Eoghan O’Flanagan. A big part of the attraction for ADXC is that they stage both gi and no gi matches throughout their cards, meaning that there’s room for any grappler to compete under the style that they prefer.
There’s no news yet on what matches will take place at ADXC 4, but if past events are anything to go by then there should be some fireworks. The promotion might be young, but they’ve already managed to put together some fantastic matches and generate some of the biggest headlines in the sport. Perhaps the biggest moment in the ADXC cage so far came at their last event, when Rayron Gracie shocked the world by submitting Fellipe Andrew. It’ll definitely be interesting to see what they can put together for their European debut, and what memorable moments might take place when the cage door closes.
