ADXC 5 took place on August 2nd, 2024 and the results featured several elite MMA fighters and BJJ competitors. The preliminary card was made up of matches between some top prospects and veteran grapplers, all of which delivered entertainment for the fans. That led into the main card, which was kicked off by Ruan Alvarenga scoring a huge decision win over ADCC silver medalist AJ Agazarm. Next up was a pair of superb displays of top pressure and positional control from talented competitors, as both Felipe Bezerra and Jonnatas Gracie won clear decisions over to Vladimir Blium and Burak Sarman respectively.
After a pair of slick submission finishes it was time for the twin co-main events, starting with Pedro Ramalho winning a close technical battle with Max Lindblad. Then in the second one Chad Mendes used his wrestling to win a decision against Diego Brandao, who replaced Kevin Lee on short notice. The first main event saw Rayron Gracie lock up a canto choke in the second round against Marcos Carrozzino, while the final match of the night featured Urijah Faber getting yet another win on his grappling record against Bibiano Fernandes. The whole event was exciting from start to finish and it was a resounding success for the relatively young promotion, as they continue going from strength to strength.
