16 year-old Victoria Lee has some huge shoes to fill over at ONE FC as she’s the younger sister of a pair of World Champions, Angela and Christian Lee. She didn’t disappoint in the slightest when she made her MMA debut against Sunisa Srisen at ONE Championship: Fists of Fury on Friday night, where she locked up the fight-ending Rear-Naked Choke at 1:03 of the second round. While it might seem crazy that a 16 year-old might compete for one of the biggest MMA promotions in the world, young starts are pretty par for the course in her family.
Angela made her professional MMA debut at the age of 18, while Christian made his debut at 16 and both siblings have been competing for ONE FC since the very beginning. After competing for less than a year, Angela managed to defeat Mei Yamaguchi to take her record to 6-0 and become the youngest person to ever win a World Championship for a major MMA promotion at 19. Christian might’ve taken the slightest detour on his journey after missing his first title shot, but he still became the youngest man to ever win a World Championship for a major MMA promotion at 20 by defeating Shinya Aoki and taking his record to 12-3.
Victoria Lee is already on the same path as her phenomenally skilled siblings over at ONE FC, the eldest of whom has already opened her gym, United BJJ Hawaii, with her husband. She wasn’t even fighting a fellow debutante either, with her opponent Srisen already holding a 4-1 record and having fought professionally since 2016. Footage of the finish was uploaded to ONE FC’s official Twitter account.
