Who’s Number One 30 took place on October 24th, 2025 and it was headlined by a great absolute grand prix that featured 8 elite grapplers. There were some fun superfights on the preliminary card beforehand and a few high-profile ones in between rounds of the tournament. Gavin Corbe earned a very impressive decision win over Owen Jones and the heaviest superfight of the night was another minor upset by decision, as the favorite Gutemberg Pereira lost out to Devhonte Johnson. Then Sarah Galvao got the submission win in the only women’s match of the main card, locking up a tight armbar to beat Trinity Pun.
The absolute grand prix was the biggest moment of the night though, and both the favorites made it to the final. Dante Leon submitted Pat Shahgholi in the opening round and beat Felipe Costa by decision in the semi-final, an impressive run for the lightest man in the bracket. It was the heaviest man who stood opposite him there though, as Declan Moody submitted Justin Michael and beat Ryan Aitken by decision to make it there. Leon got on the offensive early with some leg attacks but Moody kept his composure and stayed in control. An early takedown combined with positional dominance and top pressure gave Moody the decision win in the end.
