The latest Whoopass BJJ training camp in 2025 features an incredible lineup of coaches, including BJJ legend Joao Miyao. It takes place from October 9th to 12th in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and across those four days there’s fourteen hours of world-class instruction available. There’s also five hours of open mat alongside that, giving attendees plenty of time to put what they’re learning in to practice every day and the opportunity to roll with fresh faces from all around the world. Although Miyao is the main instructor for the camp, the other three coaches in attendance are among the best grapplers in Europe.
Opening the show on the first day is Michael Currier, a veteran coach who has competed under multiple different rulesets during his competitive career. Although Currier is probably most famous for his empty half guard, he’s a well-rounded instructor with a ton of knowledge to share in all areas. The second day of the camp is when Miyao first teaches but before that, Estonian black belt Tom Maenurm will be taking the earlier class. Maenurm is one of the most underrated grapplers in Europe with a very exciting style and an insanely high finishing-rate, so there’s always going to be a lot that anyone can learn from him.
Miyao will be returning on both the third and fourth days of The Whoopass Camp 2025, teaching the second class on both days again. Before him on the third day is Tommy Langaker, the most successful competitor to ever come out of Norway and one of a tiny number of European men to win an IBJJF No Gi World Championship. Then the final day features Eoghan O’Flanagan, one of the top competitors in the UK and an absolute master of leglocks. O’Flanagan has made a name for himself internationally over the last few years, starting with his incredible run to fourth place at ADCC 2022.
The full coaching lineup for this camp is truly incredible and there’s going to be a crazy amount of Jiu-Jitsu skill in one room for those four days. The camp costs just €399 and offers a huge amount of value considering how much time on the mats there is with some of the best in the world. With a wide range of skillsets in the instructors and techniques that have been tested at the highest level of competition, it’s practically a goldmine of Jiu-Jitsu knowledge. Tickets are selling out fast now that there’s not long left, so act fast to secure yours.
