Ffion Davies is one of the most successful BJJ competitors to ever come out of Europe and has set many records in the sport. After starting out her combat sports career with Judo and MMA, she was promoted to BJJ black belt by Darragh O’Connaill in 2018. She immediately made history by becoming the first UK competitor to ever win an IBJJF no gi world championship. Davies went on to become the first European competitor to win the IBJJF Brazilian National Championship, and the first UK competitor to medal at the ADCC World Championship in 2019. She also became the first European competitor to win an ADCC World Championship and the first to win an IBJJF World Championship in 2022.
