Subversiv: Fight Club 1 took place on March 8th, 2025 with a great mix of exciting no gi matches and high-level Combat Jiu-Jitsu action. Sensei Vega got the quickest submission of the night with a rapid-fire armbar in just 26 seconds, but Oscar Magana wasn’t far behind him with a mounted guillotine choke in the next match. Rana Willink continued her run with yet another submission win and UFC veteran Ashley Yoder scored a solid decision over Taylor Mauldin. Djavan Coleman also stood out later in the night when he locked up a rarer technique, hitting an americana with his legs from scarfhold.
The co-main event featured the biggest star of the night, as Australian Jiu- Jitsu legend Kit Dale made his return to professional grappling competition. His opponent was another UFC veteran, Blake Bilder, and Dale showed that he hasn’t lost a step by earning a decision win over him. The main event saw Noah Chen putting the Subversiv Combat Jiu-Jitsu middleweight title on the line against Kemoy Anderson, a belt that he won at Subversiv 11 last year. Both men gave it everything they had but in the end, Anderson was given the nod by the judges and he became the new champion.
