Veteran professional grappling promotion Submission Hunter Pro has just announced that they have signed a new streaming deal to broadcast all future events live on UFC Fight Pass. The promotion has been hard at work for years now, producing some of the most exciting and action-packed events in the US in that time. They’ve not only given opportunities to compete on a big stage to newer competitors, but they’ve also managed to attract some top talent like UFC veteran Roxanne Modafferi over the years too. They always put together a wide range of matches both in the gi and in no gi featuring professional competitors, colored belts, and even kid’s matches.
The new deal with UFC Fight Pass will begin with Submission Hunter Pro 84, scheduled for July 23rd, 2023, and their future events will continue streaming on that platform. There’s no news as yet on who will be headlining this event, but it’ll be interesting to see who the promotion manages to book in their debut appearance on the biggest combat sports streaming platform on the planet. It’s a big opportunity for Submission Hunter Pro, and it’ll be a huge opportunity for any grapplers who compete on the event as they will be able to showcase their talents to a wider audience.
The promotion doesn’t waste any time either, as they’ve already started planning their next event after that too. Submission Hunter Pro has been booked for August 4th, 2023 in Killeen, Texas, just a matter of weeks after their debut appearance on UFC Fight Pass. They will be joining a whole host of incredible grappling promotions that are available exclusively on the platform like Polaris, EBI, and the Combat Jiu-Jitsu world championships.
Submission Hunter Pro announced the news that they would now be streaming exclusively on UFC Fight Pass in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
