Submission Hunter Pro 93 took place on August 16th, 2024 and the promotion put together a fun card with several high-level grapplers taking to the mats. As always there was an undercard full of colored belts, teens, and kids matches; with each one of them showcasing some talented competitors. Once the crowd was suitably warmed up it was time for the main card, where things started off with a few purple and brown belt no gi matchups. The highlight of these came in the match between Jesus Lopez and Carlos Davila, when Lopez locked up a D’arce Choke to get the first finish of the main card.
The last few matches of the night were all between black belts and there was a good mix of both gi and no gi battles. After a few decisions, Alejandro Siqueira managed to get the last submission finish of the night when he locked up a toehold on Jerome Roseborough. Siqueira secured the tap and with it, one of the slickest highlight-reel moments of the night as well. Michael Lundie defeated Thompson Marikano in the co-main event just after that match, and Joao Somalia capped off the night with a decision win over Greyson Smith in the main event.
