Submission Hunter Pro 101 took place on February 13th, 2026 and the event featured several top competitors in exciting superfights. Christos Papadelos opened the main card in exciting fashion, cranking on a brutal Woj lock to submit Julian Barbosa. The next finish came in the only gi match of the night, where Alex Land hit a lovely bow and arrow choke to get the win. That was immediately followed by one of the most impressive moments of the night, as Alexandre Duarte leapt into a flying armbar to get the finish in the first few seconds of his match with Nate Hernandez.
Bruno Matias was taking on Michael Esquivel in a matchup that was among the biggest in terms of name-value, and Matias got the win with a kneebar there. The event kept progressing at a crazy pace too, with both Henrique Camargo and Joao Pedro Menezes getting the finish in their respective matches. Ricardo Evangelista was the next to get his hand raised after winning a tough decision over fellow veteran Nonso Ebede, and Leonardo Lemos got the decision win in his match straight after. Then it was back to quick finishes; with Logan Smith latching on to an arm-in guillotine early and staying on it to get the win despite Ruben Alaniz’s best attempts to escape.
As the night moved on to the co-main event, Submission Hunter Pro started to put their black belt titles on the line. Jake Heffernan came in as the lightweight champion but Ray Rodriguez left with the belt around his waist after getting the finish with an arm-triangle choke. Then in the main event, it was the longest match of the night as Dylan Melton and Douglas Hernandez went back and forth over all three rounds. Melton ended the night as the new light-heavyweight champion though; primarily using his excellent guard-work to earn the decision win.
