Honor Submission Challenge will be staging an event in Italy on July 1st, 2023 and the full star-studded lineup for it has just been confirmed. It’s not surprising that the promotion has been putting a lot of effort into staging an amazing show, as they have booked the event to take place during the build-up to a training camp that includes incredible instructors like Roger Gracie and Mica Galvao. Galvao was actually originally supposed to be competing at the event himself, but he was forced to withdraw after suffering a devastating MCL injury in a recent match at BJJ Stars 10.
One of the main attractions will be a four-man under 70kg tournament that features two veterans of the ADCC 2022 66kg division, Fabricio Andrey and Keith Krikorian. The rest of the bracket is occupied by two top European competitors, Owen Jones and Alessio Sachetti. The ADCC world champion from that division will also be competing at Honor Submission Challenge Italy, as Diogo Reis has been booked in a superfight against Jack Sear. Jonnatas Gracie will also be competing at the event, as he takes on Charles Negromonte in a tough matchup that’s sure to produce plenty of excitement for the fans. There’s several other matches filling out the rest of the card, including some big names like Kywan Gracie and Jed Hue.
