SOGI Pro: Ladies Night took place on August 19th, 2023 and the promotion put together a fantastic all-female card that was stacked with some great grapplers. The event got into full swing once it reached the main card, as that’s when some of the best female competitors around stepped on to the mats. Marissa Pacelli in particular stood out when she executed a beautiful finish in her match, locking up a Choi bar in less than 90 seconds in order to get the win. Although that was one of the highlights of the night, one of the main attractions leading up to the event was a bantamweight tournament
ADCC Trials winner Peyton Letcher put on a flawless performance in the bracket, winning both of her matches by submission in order to claim the title. She finished Justice Stanford with a quick heel hook in the opening round before submitting Nikki Heuer with a kimura in the final. Another belt was on the line at SOGI Pro: Ladies Night, as Chelsea Mapa was set to defend her flyweight title against Kiaya Jackson. It was a fantastic match with plenty of action but in the end, Mapa was able to rack up the most ride-time in EBI overtime and she retained her belt.
