Polaris 24 is scheduled to take place on June 3rd, 2023 and the promotion has booked an incredible main event match between Ryan Hall and Ashley Williams. Both men have competed at the very top of the professional grappling circuit for years, and both have earned plenty of wins against big names during their careers. In fact Williams currently holds three titles across different divisions for Polaris, and he will be putting one of them on the line in this match. He is the reigning bantamweight, featherweight, and lightweight Polaris champion, and Ryan Hall will be challenging him for his lightweight belt.

Williams is coming into this match fresh off his debut appearance at ADCC 2022, where he drew a difficult opening round match in the 66kg division against the eventual champion Diogo Reis. Hall on the other hand has been absent from professional grappling competition for over a decade, as he has been focusing exclusively on his professional MMA career instead. Regardless, he was still a fierce competitor for a long time before that and won a bronze medal back at ADCC 2009 in the 66kg division.

Hall was even invited back to compete at ADCC 2022 and Williams was just one of many competitors in the division who fans were excited to see him come up against. Then as the event was approaching, Hall was forced to withdraw due to injury and he was replaced in the bracket. Now fans will get to see this match happen in the main event of Polaris 24 instead, with both men no doubt eager to leave with the title and them being virtually guaranteed to produce plenty of action thanks to their exciting styles.

The news that Ryan Hall will be challenging triple-champion Ashley Williams for the promotion’s lightweight title at Polaris 24 on June 3rd, 2023 was announced in a post to the promotion’s official Instagram account, and the event will be available to watch live on UFC Fight Pass:
