Renato Canuto will be making his return to professional MMA at Tuff-N-Uff 151 on January 22nd, 2026, where he will be facing veteran fighter Luciano Ramos. Canuto has so far spent his entire MMA career with the promotion and things have been going very well for him so far, as he currently holds a perfect 2-0 record with 2 finishes. Ramos will be his toughest test so far though, as he’s significantly more experienced in MMA than Canuto and both of his previous opponents put together. In fact Ramos has been a professional fighter for well over a decade now, dating back to when Canuto was competing at blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu.

Ramos has a 9-16 professional record in MMA with an impressive 6 submission finishes, along with multiple boxing matches under his belt too. He started his career on the regional MMA circuit in Argentina before travelling to the US and competing all around the country, including in several fairly big promotions like Tuff-N-Uff and LFA. It’ll be interesting to see how Canuto approaches the challenge, because Ramos is a pretty well-rounded fighter. Canuto will obviously have the edge on the ground but so far he’s been pretty content to showcase his striking in both of his first two fights and it’s worked well so far.

Canuto made his professional MMA debut just 8 months ago at Tuff-N-Uff 144 and he came out incredibly quickly, dominating the fight and finishing his opponent with strikes on the ground in just 51 seconds. In his second fight at Tuff-N-Uff 149, Canuto somehow managed to end the fight even quicker than again. It was another finish due to strikes on the ground and this time his opponent lasted just 47 seconds before the referee called an end to the fight. Canuto will probably come out with the same aggression and forward pressure as he has before, but Ramos should have the experience necessary to weather the storm and make things more difficult for him.

Tuff-N-Uff announced the news that Renato Canuto would be fighting Luciano Ramos at Tuff-N-Uff 151 in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
