Polaris 34 took place on November 1st, 2025 and the Polaris Squads Intercontinental Championship final between Europe and Asia & Oceania delivered better results than anyone could have hoped for. Each team had their own close semi-final matches so most people predicted another tough battle, but it proved to be a complete domination. Things were fairly even for the first 3 matches as the teams traded wins, but Team Europe had the upper hand thanks to Eoghan O’Flanagan getting the first submission of the night against Lucas Kanard. The fourth match onwards is where Europe started to run away with it though, as they brought out Mateusz Szczecinski and he almost beat the entire team singlehandedly.
Szczecinski won an incredible 5 matches in a row, equalling the best run in Polaris Squads history and getting a remarkable 6-second submission win over Hejraat Rashid that broke the promotional record. Mohammed Avtarhanov eventually took him off the mat with a decision win on his second attempt, but he couldn’t build up a run of his own as Taylor Pearman submitted both him and Rashid. Kanard returned fire with a submission win over Pearman before losing a shock upset decision to the lightest man in the European team, Owen Jones. He lost the last match of the first half to Oliver Taza but it didn’t close the gap much, as Europe were leading 17-6.
Team Europe were just as impressive in the second half, and nobody on Team Asia & Oceania could build up a run of more than a single win. There was no particular competitor who led the charge in this half though, and the wins were much more spread out. Santeri Lilius scored a pair of wins as soon as the second half started and Jozef Chen got two submissions and a decision in his run immediately afterward. O’Flanagan and Szczecinski both returned and also went on three-match winning-streaks, but it was O’Flanagan’s that had the biggest impact on the scores as all three of his ended in submission.
The final score was 35-12 and Team Europe left as the inaugural Polaris Squads Intercontinental champions, but they weren’t the only champions crowned in the Polaris 34 results. Ffion Davies had her farewell match for the promotion and left as the bantamweight champion after winning a decision over Margot Ciccarelli in a very entertaining match. That meant Davies became the promotion’s first female double champion, but Helena Crevar joined her in the very next match. She submitted Sula-Mae Loewenthal with an arm-triangle choke after just two minutes of action in their rematch, adding the featherweight title to the lightweight belt that she already holds.
