The PGF (Professional Grappling Federation) have just signed a huge broadcast deal with UFC Fight Pass in order to stream the finale of their upcoming 6th season. This is actually the first in a series of huge announcements that has come from the promotion, all starting with the revelation that this latest season in 2024 will have $100,000 in prize money available. Not only have PGF managed to massively increase the prize pool available for the eventual winners but they have also brought in some big names to assist at the highest level of the organization, with Heather Grace Gracie and Zoltan Bathory joining the team.
The promotion has also brought in some of the most incredible coaches in the sport to help guide their competitors for Season 6 too, with 4 huge names taking part. Eddie Bravo, Rigan Machado, Roger Gracie, and Andre Galvao will all be taking part in the week-long event and coaching opposite one another throughout it. Season 6 of the PGF will begin with the Auction Draft on April 21st, 2024 before moving straight on to the regular season from 22nd to 25th, and these aspects of the season will be streamed live and free on the promotion’s official YouTube channel.
Season 6 of PGF will then come to end on April 26th, 2024 with the playoff finale and it will be streamed live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. It’ll be a huge opportunity for all the grapplers competing and it will also be a great moment for the streaming service as they have obtained the rights to yet another elite grappling tournament. This will be the culmination of a massive effort from Brandon McCaghren and all the minds working behind the scenes at PGF, and this will be the highest point in the promotion’s history so far.
