New Breed Jiu-Jitsu Federation brought back their grand finale tournament, The Ultimate Grappler, and after multiple qualifier events, the return was scheduled for December 7th, 2024. In the end there was 11 competitors who made it to the tournament and each one of them was clearly ready to leave it all on the mat in the hunt for the title. On one side of the bracket, Eric Litke had to go through an extra match due to the uneven bracket and still he managed to clean-sweep his way into the final. Litke submitted all three of his opponents on the way there, putting in some impressive performances at the same time.
The other side had no additional matches and although Pedro Moura had a bye through that initial opening round, he still looked just as good as Litke during the lead up to the final. He submitted both of his opponents to book his place opposite Litke and in the end, he was able to get his third submission of the night there. Moura finished with a perfect record of 3 submissions in 3 wins, being crowned The Ultimate Grappler 2024 by the New Breed Jiu-Jitsu Federation after having a tough series of matches against some solid opponents.
