Mansher Khera has continued his incredible undefeated MMA career with his biggest win yet at Road To UFC on May 22nd, 2025. Khera is a BJJ black belt under Marcelo Garcia and was one of the top young contenders in the sport at one point in time, medalling at the IBJJF No Gi World Championship multiple times and even winning ADCC Trials. He was right there at the highest level of the sport but started competing more sporadically before leaving it completely in 2019. After a short break, he came back with a vengeance in a whole new sport with a dramatically broader skillset.
Khera won his amateur debut in 2021 and actually won a bare-knuckle MMA fight later the same year, before pursuing the sport as a professional. He was unstoppable from that point onward and rattled off 8 wins over the next three years, including taking home the Fury FC lightweight title in his last fight. He was riding a huge wave of momentum but was brought in on short notice to compete on Road to UFC, and he was facing his most experienced opponent so far. Aziz Khaydarov was 21-6 coming into this fight and with 15 submission wins to his name, he was dangerous exactly where Khera is strongest.
Khera enjoyed a solid first round and he set himself up for success by taking it on all three judges’ scorecards, but it was the second round where he did his best work. He took Khaydarov down early and dominated the fight positionally, working his way to the back and mount while landing hard strikes at the same time. He couldn’t finish the fight but it was enough to register a 10-8 in one judge’s eyes, and Khera was in full control leading in to the final round. Khaydarov rallied from that point and took advantage of Khera expending a lot of energy earlier on, but Khera still won the fight with two 29-28 scores and a 30-26.
Fighting on Road to UFC is a huge opportunity and Mansher Khera made the absolute most of it, registering an impressive performance against a veteran. He was likely already on the radar for UFC matchmakers thanks to winning the Fury FC title, but this will surely have sealed the deal for him. It’s not a done deal yet of course, but it feels pretty likely that Khera’s next fight is going to be on a UFC card later this year. He looks determined to maintain his perfect record too, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fares against the very best in the world.
