Kaizen 2 took place on October 5th, 2024 and the promotion put together an excellent event with action from start to finish. There was two grand prix tournaments at under and over 80kg, but also quite a few big-name superfights taking place as well. The under 80kg bracket was the smaller of the two and it was Shai Gerena who emerged victorious there, beating three opponents on the night in order to take home the grand prize. Things were a little tougher at over 80kg, as Rui Alves had to win four matches in a row to earn his title. Alves submitted his first opponent before beating rising European star Pawel Jaworski in the quarter-finals, and another two decision wins sealed the deal for him.
There were some fun superfights featuring European talent throughout the card, but the final four matchups featured the biggest names. Elite Estonian grappler Tom Maenurm and Fabyury Khrysthyan put on a great match, with Maenurm getting a huge win by heel hook. Another leglock win came for the Europeans in the next match as Tarik Hopstock submitted Marcelo Fausto, and Marcin Maciulewicz followed that up with a heel hook submission finish of his own against veteran competitor Patrick Gaudio. The main event then saw Rider Zuchi putting a stop to the run, as won a decision against Bruno Lima.
