Everything has been moving unbelievably quickly for the Danaher Death Squad and their new gym in Puerto Rico. Originally, Gordon Ryan announced that he would be moving to the island along with some of his most talented and successful training partners, including Craig Jones, Nicky Ryan, and Ethan Crelinsten. This news came only a short while after Crelinsten and Nicky Ryan were awarded with their black belts by John Danaher, something that may come as a surprise to fans that have paid more attention to their competitive performances than their belt rank.

Then it was confirmed that not only would John Danaher be making the move to Puerto Rico to open up a new gym, but he’d also be taking a pretty sizable chunk of Death Squad with him. Now, Ryan has made the announcement on his official Instagram account that it shouldn’t be long at all before the new gym is open. He’s revealed a tentative opening date of either February or March, and given a rough location for the facility; being within a mile of Dorado Beach Reserve. Since making this announcement, Ryan has been inundated with questions from fans and as always, has been engaged on social media in trying to answer every one.

He’s confirmed that the gym will be open to the public and will not be a private facility, along with the fact that they’re also planning to open up another branch within the main landmass of the United States. A common question was, of course, the name of the new gym, but Ryan was determined to remain tight-lipped and didn’t reveal that to fans just yet. The biggest question that hasn’t been answered yet though: What color will the basement be this time?
