Iron Fight 10 took place on December 21st, 2024 and the promotion put together a fantastic grand prix tournament with a $100,000 Brazilian Real grand prize. There was also a handful of superfights that delivered plenty of entertainment, with the final one featuring Claudinha Costa becoming the promotion’s under 65kg champion. The tournament was where most of the action was of course, and it delivered some tough matches right from the start. Victor Honorio progressed through one side of the bracket with a pair of gritty and challenging matches against elite opponents, as he beat Kiko Santor in the first round and Henrique ‘Ceconi’ Cardoso in the second.
The other half of the bracket was just as stacked, but Yatan Bueno gave it everything he had to make it into the final. He beat Rafael Paganini in the opening round before moving on to face Elioenai Braz in the semi-final, where he racked up another win and booked his place opposite Honorio. Not many people would have predicted that Bueno would have made it that far given that he’s generally more of a gi competitor, but he continued that run in the final match of the night. Bueno beat Honorio to finish his night with a perfect record and take home the title, along with the $100,000 grand prize.
