Grapplefest 15 took place on April 1st, 2023 and there was several fun matches throughout the night before the results of three excellent title-fights came in. First up was Shay Montague and Daniel Degroot battling it out for the under 65kgs title, with both men putting it all on the line to try and come away with the belt. It was a tough match but in the end, Montague was the one who was awarded the win by the judges. Next up on the mats was Keith Krikorian and Sam McNally, who were competing with the promotion’s lightweight title. This match was actually supposed to be part of a tournament that also featured Gabriel Sousa and Jeremy Skinner, but those two were forced to withdraw from the event.

The remaining match was fast-paced and there was plenty of action crammed into it before Krikorian wrapped up a rear-naked choke, submitting McNally for the belt. The final title-fight of a night that featured a lot of them saw one of several New Wave Jiu-Jitsu competitors who made the trip to the event. The rest of his teammates were successful, so there was a lot of pressure on Luke Griffith to continue their run of good form in his match against Santeri Lilius. Griffith was relentless in attacking the legs and it paid off in a big way as he managed to submit Lilius with an inside heelhook, taking home the Grapplefest under 100kgs title.
