Gabi Garcia has just been recognised by the Guinnes Book of World Records and will feature in there as of November 2024. It’s a monumental achievement for Garcia and an honor that very few BJJ competitors have ever received. Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida received his place in the book when he set the record of an incredible thirteen titles at the IBJJF World Championship, and Mikey Musumeci hit the fastest submission at the event to earn his. Garcia will be joining those two men and a tiny handful of other elite grapplers by securing her place in the book now, something that takes an entire competitive career to do.
