Fury Pro Grappling 12 took place on December 28th, 2024 and the promotion’s final event of the year delivered a series of great results throughout the night. There was several fun matches booked for the card and there was high-level grappling right from the start, and the very first match was one of the best finishes of the night. Amanda Mazza locked up a Tarikoplata with less than 10 seconds left on the clock, opening the show with a highlight-reel moment. It wasn’t long before Andrew Kochel joined her with a submission win of his own, finishing Jack Reynolds with a kneebar after some incredibly quick transitions.
Bella Mir was the next to get a finish, as the daughter of UFC legend Frank Mir put on an absolute clinic in her match with Gabby Best. There was some controversy when the referee saw that Best’s arm was fully extended in an armbar and decided to put a stop to the match without her actually tapping, but Mir earned the win regardless. UFC veteran Alexandr Romanov got the finish with a north south choke in the very next match, and a few other MMA fighters were able to earn victories before the co-main event of the evening began.
That saw Pat Downey making his promotional debut against Andre Petroski and both men were happy to stand with one another to battle for top position. It was an entertaining match with plenty of action and it went to overtime in the end, with Downey then landing the first takedown and earning the win by golden score. The main event then featured Sean Brady taking on top 10th Planet representative Richie Martinez. Although Martinez had a good performance with a few threats, Brady was able to lock up a guillotine and step into mount in order to finish the submission.
